“With under a month to go before the March Primary Election, campaign spending is ramping up for candidates in Illinois.
So far in 2016, candidates on both sides have spent over $16 million in Illinois alone.
According to the Illinois Campaign for Political Reform, the democrats have over $34 million in their account and the republicans have more than $28 million ready to spend.”
