Landslide victory for ranked choice voting in Evanston
RFI ED Alisa Kaplan spoke with the Chicago Tribune about the impact of Evanston’s passage of ranked choice voting on future election reform.
“Evanston is a place that has led on a lot of exciting political innovations, and now it’s leading again on something that will strengthen our democracy right here at home. At a time when I know a lot of us are worried about that,” Kaplan said. “This is a win for us but most of all, for Evanston voters.”
