Lyons mayor blurs line between state and federal law

Lyons Mayor and 4th District Candidate for U.S. House of Representatives, Chris Getty, has recently undergone campaign finance scrutiny. Getty has used state funds to help fund his run for Congress.

RFI Executive Director comments on the behavior, “When you subsidize a federal campaign with state money, you blur the line [between state and federal campaign finance rules]”.
