Madigan rakes in cash as ward committeeman
RFI ED Alisa Kaplan spoke with WTTW about former IL House Speaker Mike Madigan’s ward committeeman campaign account, which has over $2.7 million cash on hand.
“It’s remarkable that it seems like he just can’t quit the Democratic Party, and the Democratic Party just can’t quit Madigan,” she said. “And he’s still around, in a position of some influence, with a significant amount of money to dole out.”
