Ranked choice voting will bring essential reform to Evanston’s elections
RFI ED Alisa Kaplan spoke to The Center Square about positive changes incoming with the passage of ranked choice voting.
“[Candidates] do not need to place their hopes with the extreme left or with the extreme right. They can appeal to everyone,” Kaplan said. “That is one of the things that choice rank voting does.”
