Tribune spotlights lack of action on ethics

An article by the Tribune discussed how Gov. Pritzker and a number of high-ranking officials have not acted on ethics reform despite a number of recent convictions. RFI ED Alisa Kaplan weighed in on the ongoing push for ethics legislation:

“Springfield’s posture on ethics reform does not seem to have changed with Madigan’s conviction, just like it didn’t change when the federal investigation came to light or when he was indicted,” said Kaplan. “With few exceptions, discussions on the topic keep hitting a brick wall.”
