What tax returns can tell us about Chicago mayor candidates
“What kind of tax policies do they benefit from (or loopholes they exploit)? Who do they owe money to and how much? Who do they do business with? How have they managed their businesses? How much do they donate to charity? How much do they have in common with the people they want to represent?” said RFI Executive Director Alisa Kaplan in an interview with the Chicago Tribune. “Those are the kinds of questions tax returns can help voters answer.”
